Kawhi Leonard prefers two teams to Lakers in free agency - reports
That is the view of ENTERTAINIC reporters Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe.
Leonard is out of contract at the end of the season and will become a free agent having been traded from the San Antonio Spurs to the Toronto Raptors before the season began after he requested a move.
His contract only had one year left on it at the time of the trade, but the Raptors were hopeful they could extend his deal and tie him down long-term.
His free agency decision may not have reached the same anticipation levels that Kevin Durant’s has, but it will still be.
Some believe that the Lakers want to add Leonard to their roster in the off-season, as they want to acquire a second superstar to LeBron James
As Leonard is from Los Angeles, it was originally predicted that he would be a perfect fit for that role.
But according to recent reports, Leonard is leaning more towards a move to the LA Clippers.
Wojnarowski and Lowe discussed the free agency decision, and were in agreement that his likely destination would still be L.A.
