Borussia Dortmund have been left to sweat over the condition of Marco Reus as they gear up for their Champions League clash with Tottenham Hotspur later this month.
The German attacker has been in exceptional form for his side throughout the season so far, leading them to the top of the Bundesliga table.
Reus has found the net on 16 occasions in all competitions for Lucien Favre’s side and has also contributed with a further 11 assists.

He netted a free-kick in the first half of Dortmund’s DfB Pokal clash with Werder Bremen on Tuesday night but, as per The Guardian’s Marcus Christenson via Twitter, was forced off with an injury at the interval.
The extent of the knock that Reus has sustained is not yet known, but news of an injury to Dortmund’s talisman is sure to come as a concern to Favre.
Tottenham will, however, be hopeful that the 29-year-old will be unavailable for selection ahead of their Champions League round of 16 first-leg clash with the German giants on February 13.
